Cloud vs Local Storage: What to Store Where and Why

It’s not about one being better. It’s about using each one for what it’s good at.

Cloud is good for files you need everywhere and want backed up. Local is good for things you only need on that one device. Neither is wrong. They’re just good for different things.

Active projects live in the cloud so you can access them anywhere. Archive files live local so they don’t clutter your cloud. Photos might live in both because you want them backed up but also on your phone. The right answer depends on your needs.
