How I Decide Which Accounts Need Extra Protection

Most people either protect nothing or everything. There’s a smarter middle ground.

Security advice often swings between two extremes: either “lock down everything” or “don’t worry about it.” Neither is realistic.

The truth is, some accounts matter more than others. Your email matters more than your streaming service. Your banking app matters more than your old social media account. Once you understand which accounts are worth protecting and which aren’t, protecting yourself becomes doable instead of overwhelming.
