This cookbook feels like a warm invitation into Rachel Allen’s kitchen. The photography alone had me bookmarking recipes, even if my picky eaters might not be as enthusiastic. I appreciated the practical organization—especially the weeknight dinners and one-pot meals—and the cultural notes about Ireland’s provinces added a lovely touch. While not every recipe will work for my household, I still see this becoming a trusted go-to for comfort food and simple baking days.
