New York Times and USA TODAY bestselling author DIANA PALMER is back with a thrilling new story featuring the Kirk brothers of Wyoming
Former border agent Dalton Kirk thought his life was over-literally-when a gang of smugglers left him for dead. Defying all odds, he survives his ordeal and returns to his Wyoming ranch ready to dedicate his future to a more peaceful home on the range. Until lovely Merissa Baker knocks on his door.
Merissa is well aware of her reputation as the local eccentric-she knows things before they happen-and she's had a vision that Dalton is in danger. Even though her beliefs clash with Dalton's cowboy logic, she's determined to save the handsome rancher she's secretly loved forever.
Visions? It's all ridiculous to Dalton...until things start happening that prove Merissa right. And now Dalton is not the only target-so is Merissa. Can Dalton be bold enough to trust the unknown? Is this Wyoming man ready to love?
There’s just something about Diana Palmer’s cowboy romances that always gets me hooked, and Wyoming Bold is no exception. This book reminded me why her Wyoming Men series continues to be so popular—it combines rugged, old-school cowboys with tender romance and just enough danger to keep things exciting.
The story has that classic Palmer flair: a strong, sometimes stubborn hero who finds himself drawn to a woman who’s both his opposite and exactly what he needs. I liked how the romance developed in this one—it wasn’t rushed or overly dramatic, but it had plenty of sparks. There’s a steady build of trust, attraction, and emotion, which made the relationship feel authentic.
What I enjoyed most was the sense of setting. Palmer paints Wyoming as more than just a backdrop—it feels like a living, breathing character in the story. You can practically picture the open skies, hear the crunch of boots on ranch land, and feel the quiet toughness that comes with cowboy life. That grounding in place gave the romance extra depth and weight.
While Palmer’s writing style can feel a little old-fashioned at times, I think it works here. The book feels like a warm, comforting return to familiar romance tropes, but with enough twists to keep it from being predictable. If you’re in the mood for cowboys, suspense, and slow-burn romance, this one delivers.
🔥 Steamometer: 3/5 – Gentle but steady heat, perfectly in line with the Wyoming Men series.
