I've been using computers since the middle of the 1980s and have worked in design, development, and programming. I have observed the evolution of the internet from dial-up connectivity to the rapid, always-on environment in which we currently operate.

Safety online has always been important to me, especially when it comes to my family. I've learned how to keep safe through chat rooms, social media, smartphones, and cloud storage, usually by making mistakes.
